Significance

The recitation of the Hanuman Ashtottara Shatanamavali is a key element of Lord Hanuman's worship. When to Chant

Take water in your right palm, state your name, gotra, the date, and your intention for performing this puja.

Dhyanam (Meditation)

(ध्यानम्)

Close your eyes and meditate upon Lord Hanuman in his devotional form, kneeling before Lord Rama with folded hands.

गोष्पदीकृतवारीशं मशकीकृतराक्षसम्। रामायणमहामालारत्नं वन्दे अनिलात्मजम्॥

Invoke Lord Hanuman's presence with folded hands and offering flowers.
