When to Chant

On Tuesdays, Saturdays, Hanuman Jayanti, or on any occasion of Hanuman puja. Chanting during the morning or evening hours is considered especially beneficial.

Take water in your right palm, state your name, gotra, the date, and your intention for performing this puja.

Dhyanam (Meditation)

(ध्यानम्)

Close your eyes and meditate upon Lord Hanuman in his devotional form, kneeling before Lord Rama with folded hands.

गोष्पदीकृतवारीशं मशकीकृतराक्षसम्। रामायणमहामालारत्नं वन्दे अनिलात्मजम्॥

Invoke Lord Hanuman's presence with folded hands and offering flowers.

Request the deity to return to their abode, with the promise that they remain in your heart.

If worshipping a permanent murti at home, visarjana is typically not performed.
